Why You Should Never Memorize Answers for Your Visa Interview

We are former visa officers, so believe us when we tell you do not memorize your answers to visa interview questions! Just don't do it okay; it is a bad idea.

A Visa officer knows exactly what someone looks like when they are trying to remember a memorized response. Usually, their eyes go up and they are trying to remember exactly how they like to word things. You know what that tells us? That tells us that you are not being genuine, that you are not being authentic, because you have a memorized canned response. Visa officers hate memorized responses.
